Dear resident
We are appealing for information after an incident of vehicle interference in Southfield Drive, Barton Seagrave.
The incident occurred between 10:00 pm on 30/05/2026 and 10:30 am on 31/05/2026 whilst it was parked on Southfield Drive.
Vehicle was noted to have been entered and an untidy search of boot and glove box (interior) was conducted, items to include purse and bank cards were left after search conducted, nothing taken or appears to be missing at this stage.

The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection Lock your vehicle every time you leave it, even for a short period Check windows are fully closed Do not leave keys inside the vehicle Consider security measures such as steering wheel locks, alarms, and dashcams Report suspicious activity immediately via 101 or 999 in an emergency
